Ethiopia’s finest bet to fully take advantage of tourism

Addis Ababa, March 6, 2017 (FBC) - A 22 member South African delegation is on business tour to Ethiopia to assess investment opportunities in manufacturing, agro-processing, energy and construction sectors.



President Paul Kagame and Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn witnessed the signing of 11 bilateral agreements across multiple sectors as the two countries move to strengthen ties.

Desalegn is on a three day official visit to Rwanda accompanied by First Lady Roman Tesfaye and high level officials of his government.

Former president of South Africa Thabo Mbeki has urged all African countries to draw important lessons from the historic victory at Adwa. Speaking at the panel discussion held here, Thabo Mbeki said “We should reflect on the matter of the important lessons we should draw from the historic victory at Adwa. Mbeki said the first lesson to be learnt from victory of Adwa is unity.
