Addis Ababa, January 20, 2017 (FBC) – Sudan extended a special thanks to Ethiopia and Qatar for the role they played for the sanctions imposed by the US on the northeastern Africa country to be lifted.

The country hosts locals and visitors from all over the world dipping them into one of its kind adventure and joyous celebrations known as Timket (Epiphany). People go outdoors in masses, dressed in their best and white traditional clothing to celebrate and worship.

Addis Ababa, January 11, 2017 (FBC) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu, addressed the Ministerial-level UNSC Debate on "Conflict Prevention & Sustaining Peace" yesterday at the United Nations Security Council in New York.

The forum which was chaired by Sweden, (which took up the January Presidency of the UNSC) was attended by the new United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, foreign ministers, state ministers of foreign affairs and or permanent representatives of members of the UNSC.
